Who is Kanade Tachibana's love interest? ›

Kanade Tachibana, also known as Angel, is the love interest of Yuzuru Otonashi in the anime Angel Beats!. Kanade is the student council president at the afterlife school.

Later on, the SSS discovers that Kanade does not have the nature of someone working with God; in fact she is human like them. The discovery forces Yuri to devise a plan to humiliate her to serve as additional proof for her humanity.

He is enrolled into the afterlife school and meets a girl named Yuri who invites him to join the Afterlife Battlefront, an organization she leads which fights against the student council president Kanade Tachibana, a girl also known as Angel with supernatural powers.

Kanade is one of the shortest characters in the series, being only 150 cm (4'11") tall. After her seeming reincarnation, Kanade is shown with short hair tied in a ponytail.

Haruka Ooyama is the daughter of Goro Ooyama and Nagisa Tsukikage. She is the love interest of Toma Tachibana and Soichiro Tachibana.

She notes that Kinjirō is the first, and only, man who is willing to talk her down and she has "fallen in love" with him as a result.
