I used Tolai Hare (S/S), and a snail (B/B). Flurry until whirlpool is down to 1 round, then dodge. Flurry until next whirlpool, then burrow. Repeat until enemy pet is dead. Use up rabbit, then pull out snail for second enemy pet. Keep shield up (for damage mitigation), reapply when it drops to 1 round and spam ooze touch until you are on third enemy pet, in which case you will continue the above (shield will completely block enemy pet's stampede), but add dive to your rotation for a little extra damage. I didn't even need my third pet.

I'm absolutely agree! Adorable two pet strategy! Used Balance Elfin Rabbit and Balance Silkbead Snail ^^

Didn't have a level 25 Silkworm so I tried this one. Worked like a charm.

yup, looks like any rabbit with dodge/burrow, and almost any snail works. cheers. i threw in a bandicoon that made decent work of the seagull.

Worked perfectly, I used a S/S Spring Rabbit , B/B Shimmershell Snail and a S/S Noblegarden Bunny For mine and didn't even need the 3rd pet!

Really good strategy, my snail actually made it to the third pet and got that one down to half hp before it died!

Didnt have the silkworm, but 3 snails worked perfectly, just repeat turn 1 till 5+ on the snail per enemy pet
Abi wrote on 2017-02-28 19:12:21
This did work for me. The snail did not kill the first two pets as written here, but the silkworm killed the second pet and made a decent dent in the health of the third. I used a Dust Bunny S/S as my third pet, and it was easily able to kill the murloc. Dodge and burrow are OP :)

Didn't have a max lvl Silkworm so I used 2 snails. Worked just fine. Had Wolpertinger as back up but didn't have to use it.
XNedra wrote on 2016-10-03 00:36:04
Use 3 snails, worked fine.
Vijo wrote on 2016-10-21 11:02:49
As I did not have a second snail or a Silkworm (because Critters!), I simply used 2 rabbits (1/?/1) and I'd Scratch as a filler and Burrow in order to block one of the stacks from Stampede. They took a load of damage (finished with 2nd rabbit @~50%, however it's possible and that's what counts!)
Voodoou wrote on 2016-10-29 17:42:05
Just to make things easier for you, have one snail as above and one with 2 1 1 which is strong against Grommet. I only needed the two snails.

Worked for me too

Worked perfect for me. My Imperial Silkworm was even a level 24. Thank you so much for your guide! Didn't need the 3rd pet.
Railguy wrote on 2017-03-22 16:55:53
This was the last battle I needed for family familiar. My rapana whelk died while salty bird was still in but I brought in my darkmoon rabbit and he was able to finish off both salty bird and grommet, and I didn't even need the Imperial silkworm.
Thanks so much for making this website!

A Rabbit (2/2/1)
Fire Beetle (1/2/1)
A Snail (1/2/X)
1: Dodge
2: Flurry
3: Flurry
4-5: Burrow
6: Flurry to kill pet 1
7: Dodge while pet is resurrected
pet 2 in
1: Flurry til rabbit is dead
2: switch to fire beetle
3: Scorched earth
4-X: burn til pet 2 is dead
pet 3 in
1: switch to snail.
2: Shell Shield
3: Ooze touch til snail is dead (I used a dive as well). Refresh shell shield.
This strategy works. My 2nd pet was even hit with a crit of almost 1k and I still won. MUCH better and not nearly as dependant on RNG as the above.

Did not work for me at all. Rabbit dies way too early before pet 1 is dead. Whirlpool hits regardless of the first dodge, so don't think you got the order right.
Kessyra wrote on 2017-03-08 17:37:19
These pets worked for me but I did alter the strategy with the rabbit.
Use burrow or dodge right before the whirlpool hits and flurry otherwise.

Bush Chicken 1,1,1 Spring Rabbit 2,2,1 and Silkbead Snail 1,1,1 Easy Peasy.
gent wrote on 2017-01-18 18:23:15
I didn't have Imperial Silkworm so I used Egbert (2,1,2), Scooter the Snail (1,1,1) and Nibbles (2,1,2). Worked on 1st attempt easily.
Cohibadad wrote on 2017-01-05 11:37:16
I used a snail as described for 1st pet, Baneling 2 2 2 and a lvl 10+ pet. There is some RNG involved as the snail if critted and doesn't finish off the first 2 pets this won't work. But if he does and Baneling gets Grommet below 550 just use Baneling Burst and all the XP goes to the lvl pet.
Nytemayre wrote on 2017-01-15 20:17:27
After 10 tries now I still cannot get the snail to live long enough to even hit the 2nd pet let alone kill it. What the hell is the secret?
Anonymous wrote on 2017-01-15 19:35:50
The snail, in 4 tries, has yet to make it alive to do damage to 2nd pet. Best I have done so far is last pet finally came in right before I get killed. Way too rng dependant...
Anonymous wrote on 2017-01-15 20:10:58
up to 15 tries now. All snails, all rabbits, all fawns, the above strat. I cannot get past the thirs pet. That 1k damage 2x in a row is impossible to survive.
