"Fat-shaming" doesn't work. Neither do "join for free" or "you owe it to yourself" marketing ploys. But I love Anytime Fitness' new "common sense + humor" invitation to try something new - and useful. Kudos to Stacy L. I'm honored that Axios once again (4th time this year) published one of my "Reader Submissions." From Today's Axios-Twin Cities Newsletter: Reader Mark Daly sent us these gorgeous shots in response to our recent call for suggestions for making winter more fun."My family and I like to keep things fresh each winter with long walks on frozen lakes and amateur photography contests," Mark wrote. "Our friends who live in the South are gobsmacked by what we see." Daly, who lives in Hopkins, snapped all three snowy pics at Lake Ossawinnamakee.
