Who Is Considered a Returning Student?
A returning student is someone who was previously enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or professional-level degree program and wants to restart their studies after separating from the University.

Admissions Process for Returning Students
Our Office for Returning Students has a team of experienced and professional Admissions Advisors who are available to answer all of your questions and assist you with your re-enrollment.
Step 1: Get in Touch With an Admissions Advisor
Call the Office for Returning Students and speak to an Admissions Advisor to go over your eligibility to return and your admissions requirements.

Step 2: Enrollment
If your eligibility to re-enroll has been confirmed by your Admissions Advisor, complete the paperwork necessary to re-enroll at Purdue Global. Your Advisor will guide you through the process, based on your specific needs.
Step 3: Registration
Complete your registration and meet with the Office of Student Support. They’ll help you plan your upcoming class schedule and prepare for your return.

- How Do I Receive the Alumni Reduction?
If you have earned an associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree from any Purdue institution, the alumni tuition reduction program could lower the cost of your Purdue Global degree by 20%.

- How Can I Request a Copy of My Purdue Global Transcripts?
To get a copy of your transcripts, please visit our Transcript Request page. You’ll find detailed instructions on requesting your transcripts and any associated fees.

- I’ve Attended Another School in the Meantime. How Do I Receive Transfer Credits?
As a Purdue Global returning student, you get priority transcript evaluations.
To begin the process, contact each of your prior institutions and request that they send your official transcript directly to the Office of the Registrar at Document@PurdueGlobal.edu or by mail to:

If you are still weighing your options, you don’t have to wait. Connect with your Advisor now for a priority audit using your unofficial transcripts. Your Advisor will have each transcript you provide evaluated against your program of interest. After evaluation, you can discuss your degree plan with your Advisor and get a better idea of how close you are to earning your degree at Purdue Global.
Remember: Official transcripts are required to include these credits in your degree plan after enrollment.

Purdue System Alumni Tuition Reduction: Additional terms and conditions apply. May not be combined with other Purdue Global tuition reductions or ExcelTrack® pricing. School of Aviation programs and Purdue Global + Google Certificates are not available for alumni tuition reduction. Must be a first-time enrollee in a Purdue Global degree or certificate program; continuing students are not eligible. Speak with an Advisor for additional information.
